Jen Stadler

Jen Stadler is a southerner who now lives in the midwest (she blames her husband). She spent her childhood outdoors with a wild imagination, farm chores, and a knack for turning ordinary days into big adventures.

She studied English in college and spent much of her young adult life working with children. As a mom, she knows the importance of raising children with strong character and values- something that inspired the beginning of Box Book Publishing.

Jen writes with heart and humor and has a passion for family and storytelling. She lives in Minnesota with her husband, two teenagers, and their adopted dog, Lucy. When she’s not working on her “to do” list, you’ll find her camping, playing golf and pickleball, watching sports, tackling home projects, and soaking up time with her favorite people.

Kat Fisher is a mom, a storyteller, and a firm believer that life is better with a little bit of mud on your shoes, crayon marks on your table, and laughter echoing down the hall. A lifelong lover of silly stories and made-up games that go on forever, Kat writes books that encourage kids to be curious, kind, and wildly creative.

She has a soft spot for handwritten notes, homemade bread, and the smell of sharpened pencils (don’t ask). Her hobbies include starting puzzles she never finishes, hiding vegetables in macaroni and cheese, and pretending she’s organized.

She values her privacy and lives in a house full of love and noise, with bookshelves that are always overflowing, and at least one pair of glitter-covered sneakers.

A wife of 20 years and mom to two teenagers, Tricia finds inspiration in the everyday beauty of family life and the deep roots of her rural upbringing. Raised on a farm in small-town Minnesota, her childhood was filled with adventure—canoeing the St. Croix River, exploring the woods with her brothers, and hunting for eggs and kittens in the hay barn.

Now living in a close-knit southern Minnesota community, she works with children at a local preschool, nurturing curiosity, kindness, and creativity every day. She is the daughter of loving parents who’ve been married for over 63 years, and she strives to emulate the faithfulness, humor, and enduring love that define their remarkable bond.

A University of Wisconsin–Stout graduate with a background in retail management and real estate, Tricia now channels her love for storytelling, nature, and heartfelt connection into her writing. When she’s not working with children or creating something new, she’s road-tripping with her family, reading a favorite book, or simply soaking in the wonder of the outdoors.

Teddy T. Wiggles

Teddy T. Wiggles is a world-renowned animal translator, snack enthusiast, and part-time belly scratcher. He spends his days observing the secret lives of pets and taking very important notes in his top-secret journal (which usually has a few paw prints on it). When he’s not documenting the dramatic adventures of house cats or the over-the-top tales of backyard squirrels, Teddy can be found sipping lukewarm tea and laughing at his own jokes. He believes every animal has a story—and he’s determined to tell them all, one diary at a time.

In real life, he's a silly (obviously) jokester who shares life with his gracious wife, who is patient enough to put up with him. Teddy values his privacy and wants to keep his identity under wraps. As long as he makes us laugh, we're willing to indulge him.
